What we collect
If you create an account or subscribe to updates, we store your email address and related account metadata needed to run the service.
When you use signed-in features, we store the information needed to operate comparisons, comments, watchlists, alerts, billing, and account history.
If you use the Decision Engine, comparisons, or other interactive features, we store inputs and outputs needed to deliver results, enforce limits, and prevent abuse.
We do not store payment card or billing details on our own systems. Paid plan checkout, invoices, and subscription management are handled by our payment provider.
How we use it
To deliver the weekly digest and other product communications you opt into.
To operate, secure, and improve AImpulse, including fixing bugs, preventing abuse, enforcing usage limits, and understanding which features matter.
To generate and improve AI-tool intelligence, comparisons, score updates, and market briefings from public signals.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for advertising.
Third-party services
Clerk — account authentication and user profile infrastructure.
Supabase — database, storage, activity log, and server-side data infrastructure.
Vercel — hosting, deployment; optional Web Analytics and Speed Insights when you consent.
Resend — transactional and digest email delivery.
Sentry — error monitoring and diagnostics to keep the service reliable.
Lemon Squeezy — checkout, subscription management, invoices, and customer portal links for paid plans.
Anthropic — AI analysis for Decision Engine, comparison, scoring, and editorial workflows.
Serper, Product Hunt, and other public-data providers — discovery and enrichment of public AI tool market signals.
Google Fonts and Google-hosted icon/font assets — typography and icon delivery.
Email and unsubscribe
If you subscribe to AImpulse Weekly or product updates, every marketing or digest email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also manage newsletter status from your account when signed in.
We may still send transactional or account-related messages when needed to operate the service, such as billing, security, or account notices.
Retention and security
Account and billing-related records are kept as long as needed to operate your account, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
Activity log events and anonymous visitor records are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted or aggregated where practical. You may request earlier deletion of data linked to your account by emailing contact@aimpulse.app.
Server logs and error diagnostics (for example Sentry) are retained for limited periods according to each provider’s defaults and our operational needs.
We use technical and organizational safeguards such as access controls, server-side service-role handling, row-level security, and monitoring. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or object to certain uses of your personal data. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing contact@aimpulse.app. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
You can withdraw analytics consent at any time via Cookie settings in the footer; we will stop optional analytics from that point forward (data already collected may remain until retention periods end).
